Auntie Khatoon is a great cook and she keeps a well-tended kitchen garden. She enjoys picking the vegetables early in the morning, with a few drops of dew still clinging to them. She has reaped a lot of bora today and has parcelled some off to give to neighbours. She will keep this parcel and fry it with swamp shrimps in masala, and make some sada roti to go with it.
